Find Your Calling

As I worked out on Friday with my dear friend Sheila, a woman came up to me and said, "I come here every morning because of you. You're always here." I felt blessed for two reasons - I am strong spiritually, physically and mentally enough to exercise my body and I also have the opportunity to inspire and motivate others to be better version of themselves. In some way or another, without any conscious effort, I have become a Chief Motivational Officer (CMO).

To live life to its fullest, we must live beyond making a living to serving a purpose. What are you about? Why are you here? Why must you breathe? We all try to find meaning and purpose in the work we do every day. Some of us even have the privilege of structuring our work in such a way that it brings the meaning we want into our lives - helping people, making them grow and watching them transform through our actions.

Do you have any idea what your true calling might be or are you simply earning a paycheck that allows you to indulge in the material things you want? If your answer is yes, it's time to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself  - what is important to me? What are my priorities? What purpose am I designed to serve?
