Say Goodbye to Double-Mindedness

Are you your own greatest critic? You have this brilliant idea you've been sitting on for months, even years. You refuse to act and you have a host of great reasons why - "It's just not the right time. There are too many other people doing it." Unknowingly, you talk yourself out of your destiny. Constant divided internal dialogue robs you of the very thing that could make you great. You are reluctant to go for it; take a chance. For all you know, things may just work out perfectly. What you have been waiting for all this time might just waiting on you to take action.

It's time to throw your entire mind into that thing you've been thinking about. I mean that thing that keeps you up late at night. That very exercise you engage in that makes time fly. You would do it for free if necessary. You are that passionate about it. A wise man once told me that it's our gifts that make room for us in the world. Are you ready to take your spot on the world stage? If your answer is yes, then get going. Don't delay. After all, nothing ventured, nothing gained. What do you have to lose? In the worst case scenario, your idea won't work. But how do you know for sure if you never try. Things may actually work out much better than you ever imagined.

I know first hand what this feels like. I've always wanted to be a professional speaker and writer. Even after receiving various acknowledgements that I have what it takes, the fear of failing took center stage until I made a decision to step out in faith. I am challenging you to take that step just like I did. Simply put one foot in front of the other and you'll be well on your way. As psychologist William James said, "There is no more miserable human being than one in whom nothing is habitual but indecision."
