Attitude Defines Altitude

The right attitude in conjunction with a solid vision for your life goes a long way. Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react to it (Chuck Swindoll). It's not necessarily the things that come at us that kill us. It's how we react to them that determines whether we rise or fall.

Your attitude dictates whether your dreams will come to reality or not and where you are right now has a lot to do with your attitude thus far. Consequently, it determines what your future will look like. So if you know you need an attitude adjustment, this is your wake-up call. Your attitude drives your thoughts and your actions. All the choices you've made to date are all as a result of your attitude. If you want to go far, check your attitude.

Don't be a victim and point to something outside of yourself as the reason for your demise. Steven Covey said, "As long as you think the problem is out there, that very thought is the problem." It's time to take responsibility for how we feel and how we react to situations and others. It's not what comes at us from the outside that makes the big difference, it's what happens inside of us - that inner, special place that no-one can touch or tamper with unless we allow it.

So, no matter how difficult the circumstances you face today are, find a way to maintain a good attitude as you go through it - emphasis on the word through because whatever it is will eventually come to pass. Remember, your attitude could mean the difference between success and failure.
