You Can Recover

As someone who has made her fair share of mistakes, I want you to know without a shadow of a doubt that you can recover from a fall. Disappointments and mistakes aren't intended to destroy us. If leveraged in the right way, they can actually grow you in ways that you wouldn't believe. I am not trying to say failures aren't painful because they are. They can knock you off your game and make you even think that your life is over. But trust me, life isn't over because of a setback. The setback may be exactly what you need for an amazing comeback.

In reality we learn more from our failures than from our successes. Smart people use their failures as stepping stones to reach greater heights. They take each failure and use it as fuel to propel them forward. Failure is not what ruins us. Far from it. It's our attitude to failure that determines what the end of our story would be.

Don't sit in the ashes of your life. Never give up on yourself. Regardless of your background, where you've been or what you may have done, you have value. You have so much to offer the world. Your life matters and your ability to make a difference is not compromised. Napoleon Hill said it well with this quote, "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit." Tonight I am that voice whispering gently in your ear, encouraging you to get back up again. Setbacks do not mean your life is over. Make a decision to be the author of your own great comeback story.
